Location
We operate from 7 Cullen Court, Spotswood VIC – the first street off The Avenue (turn right from Melbourne Road at The Avenue just before you get to the Shell Service Station). Our location is ideal for easy freeway access and safe pick up and drop off of our trailers.
Procedure
Simply call Clarke on 0432 359 166 and let him know you're dropping by to hire a trailer. Once you arrive pay a $100 bond via eftpos. Clarke will then unlock the bollards and prepare your trailer. Once your job is complete drop the trailer back and pay for the trailer based on how long you had the use of it for. Clarke will then refund your $100 bond. Simple, fast and easy!

24 hour drop off
Need to drop the trailer off very late at night or in the early hours of the morning?
We can accommodate that!
Simply let Clarke know and he will arrange your payment up front, return of your bond the next day direct to your bank account and outside hours key access for you.
All we ask is you please respect our dear neighbours after hours, place the trailer back on the lot quietly, lock the trailer chain to the bollard chain and place the bollard keys in the secure drop box. Nice and easy!

About the Land – TRZ2 Zoning and Transport Corridor Use
Spotswood Trailers operates from a privately owned parcel of land at 7 Cullen Court, Spotswood, uniquely zoned as TRZ2 – Transport Zone 2. This zoning classification typically applies to land set aside for transport-related infrastructure and activity, such as car parks, service areas, and freight support. TRZ2 zoned land is almost always owned by The Department of Transport but not in this case.
Despite its classification as part of the West Gate Freeway transport corridor, this land is privately held, unencumbered, and lawfully activated for small-scale transport utility. Through the installation of heavy-duty trailers, stainless steel retractable security bollards, commercial-grade Vevor ramps, and native Australian landscaping, the site has been transformed into a secure and productive hub that serves both the local community and the Towson family as well (3 brothers who need the trailers ourselves for our own construction and renovation work).
This is not public land. This property is part of 7 Cullen Court and has been fully brought into lawful and functional service, contributing to the transport infrastructure of Victoria — all without public funding or intervention. Our initiative showcases what a family with a small private enterprise can achieve when bureaucracy stands still.

About the Land – Title Plan and Ownership Details
My parents Edward and Faye Towson purchased 7 Cullen Court, Spotswood in 1993. Since owning 7 Cullen Court we have never, ever had even one member of the general public believe that the vacant block (which now has the trailers parked on it) is privately owned.
Below is a copy of the land title and register search statement from the land titles office which clearly states that the land is owned by my mother Faye Maree Towson.
